Retreat Among The Trees
The Park Motor Hotel was built in 1922 to provide housing for the mill workers
of the alpine town, McCloud California. |

In the 1960's, it was converted to an Inn, that also
provided breakfast along with the price of the room.
Hiromi Suzuki is the current owner of Stoney
Brook Inn, having found it the perfect retreat from her busy San
Francisco lifestyle. It is her hope that it will afford visitors the
opportunity for meditation and spiritual introspection that she has
found beneficial since discovering this sacred area. |
| At the corner of Main and Colombero, stands
this historical landmark that has witnessed both the changes in its town and
transformation within itself, many times. It is surrounded by majestic Ponderosa Pines and
the Southern Foothills of 14,000 foot high Mt. Shasta. Today Stoney Brook Inn is
a unique 17-room facility. The Inns' location offers easy access to rivers, waterfalls, lakes, boating,
fishing, golfing, skiing, the local entertainment/dinner train and endless trails for
hiking and biking. Stoney Brook's staff is committed to providing a
casual and friendly atmosphere within which guests can enjoy the natural beauty and
magic of the Mt. Shasta area. |
